Allie Wollman (she/her), MA

To be loved is to be known.

As human beings we want to know our people and our people to know us. Therapy is a process that helps you learn how to do just that. Love and connection with others is crucial in the healing journey, and many of us are not taught how to foster healthy relationships. That is where I come in!

How I work

I create a space where you and I will work together, create your own growth, and you will experience how important healing is for you and your relationships. It is common to experience symptoms of anxiety and depression and it can be difficult to navigate those experiences alone. Whether you have experienced a big life change, need support in your day-to-day life, or would like to safely heal through a past experience, I can help you navigate the process.

Together, we will explore difficult emotions, hard situations, and confusing feelings while also celebrating wins and creating joy. I use the connection between mind, body, and spirit and help you learn how to move through difficult feelings by noticing somatic cues or spiritual longings. We live in our entire being, not just in our mind.

My background

I am an LGBTQI+ identified therapist. I recently completed my masters in Marriage and Family Therapy and am trained in evidence-based modalities and my work is informed by attachment theory, family systems theory, and trauma-informed approaches. Mindfulness and psycho-education are consistent threads in my practice, and I regularly consult with my supervisors and colleagues. I have a background working with domestic violence victims/survivors, young adults, and college students.

We all have the power of healing within us and I thoroughly enjoy experiencing the beauty and power of healing!
