Alyssa Maples (she/her), PhD, LMFT
I work with people who want to make their lives, their relationships, and their families flourish.
I specialize in working with individuals, couples and families who have experienced trauma. I have experience working with young adults, college students, couples and people impacted by addiction. I am trained in evidence-based methods and my work is informed by attachment and family systems. My approach is thought-provoking, collaborative, and supportive, without shame or judgement.
My Approach
Our days are filled with moments, experiences, and connections that influence where we are now and where we hope to be eventually. We are biologically driven to seek out connections and attachments. Therapeutic relationships can help heal the past, identify challenges, and build on strengths in the present, which leads to a more fulfilling future.
Working together, we will develop a trusting and safe connection that will help you better understand yourself, make progress towards the change you want to see in yourself and in your relationships, and begin to create the life you want. I look forward to seeing you, your relationship, and your family thrive.
