Eva Morrison (she/her), MSW, LICSW
I believe that we humans are wired for connection, and that we tap into our best selves when we find meaningful and positive connection with others. As a therapist, I build connection with you by creating a solid foundation of trust, vulnerability, and commitment to sit with you through all that is difficult, ugly, raw, or scary. I work to create a warm and judgment-free environment that promotes the growth you’re looking to achieve.
How I Work
My approach to therapy is grounded in the belief that we are all doing the best that we can with the tools we have. I look forward to using our shared space to recognize the amazing tools you already have and to find ways to build on those strengths to address your concerns. I lean strongly on mindfulness and self-compassion, exploring the connection between body and mind, as well as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and psychoeducation. I make space for exploring power and privilege in our work. As your therapist, it’s my role to walk alongside you on your journey, to honor that you are the expert when it comes to your life, and to bring the expertise I have to help you build the life you want.
My specialties include working with:
Survivors of sexual violence
Pregnancy, prenatal and post-partum issues
LGBTQ+ folks
Complex trauma and PTSD
Climate anxiety / eco-anxiety
Parenting / caregiver stress
Grief and loss
Anxiety
